At Manchester United, French midfielder Paul Pogbar seems to be having a frustrating time. Due to poor performance, many are saying, to leave Manchester United and move somewhere else. Former United player Wayne Rooney has said the same thing again.

The French midfielder was flown to Manchester from Juventus in 2016 for a record 105 million euros. After playing well for a few seasons, the French star, who has won the World Cup in the last two seasons, has been performing very poorly. Pogba has played 16 matches this season. He has scored 9 goals as well as one goal. Rooney is angry at the performance of such a world class player.

Rooney said, ‘Now is the time for him (Pogba) to move elsewhere. If I am correct, he knows for himself that Pogba could not return to his former form after the injury. I saw him play for France and he is a completely different player. His ability, his vision, control of the game is there in every match in France. But when he plays for United, we see a different pogba. So I think United should let him go. ‘

Meanwhile, United fans cannot trust the coach. So the Manchester United board is looking at former Tottenham boss Pachettino and Ajax coach Eric Ten Hague as his replacements. However, Rooney asked current coach Raf Rangnik to give him more time.

“I think he (Rangnik) should be given more time now without worrying about the next coach,” Rooney said. He knows how to work with top class players and young players. ‘
