Tiger all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and 10 other Bangladeshi cricketers have been included in the draft of The Hundred, a popular cricket tournament in England.
The Hundred has released the list of cricketers in the draft for the 2022 season. 265 foreign cricketers registered for this year’s event. Where 10 cricketers of Bangladesh took place in different categories.
In the draft, the base price of Shakib has been taken as the second highest category i.e. about one lakh pounds, in Bangladeshi rupees which amounts to 1 crore 13 lakh 23 thousand 742 rupees. In this draft, Quinton de Kock, Jay Richardson and Andre Russell have got a place in Shakib’s category.
In addition to this experienced all-rounder from Bangladesh, Nasum Ahmed, Liton Das, Taskin Ahmed, Abu Haider Rony, Afif Hossain Dhrub, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad, Sabbir Rahman and Soumya Sarkar are in the draft of The Hundred. However, no base price has been fixed for them.
Babar Azam, Chris Gayle, Mitchell Marsh, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Puran, Tabriz Shamsi and David Warner are in the 125,000 base price category.
The হাজার 75,000 price tag includes Mohammad Amir, Dwayne Bravo, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Aaron Finch, Shadab Khan, Evin Lewis, Riley Meredith, David Miller, Harris Rauf, Imran Tahir and Mujib Ur Rahman.
This year’s edition of The Hundred will start on 3rd August and will end on 3rd September. The auction of The Hundred will be held on Monday (April 4). From there, a total of 16 foreign cricketers can be included in the team.
