Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has played three matches in Barcelona jersey. However, he has not yet scored a goal. Barca coach Xavi Hernandez sees nothing wrong with this ‘lack of goals’. According to him, the same happened to Luis Suarez and Ferran Torres in the early days after arriving at Barca.

Lewandowski played his first match after joining Barca against Real Madrid. He was on the field for 46 minutes in that friendly match. The Polish star did not get any goal-assist. He was also in the eleven in the match against Juventus, but in this match, his time on the field increased a little, 62 minutes. Even today, the 33-year-old star remains a shadow of himself. The last match he played was against the Red Bulls. His previous image in performance there too.

Bayern Munich, Lewandowski’s lack of goals at Barca is a bad sign? Barca coach Xavi said, nothing like that. He said about this, ‘He is getting goals in practice. This is about the last few days. However, he is not getting goals in the match. It’s normal for me. That was the case early on with Luis Suarez and Ferran Torres.’

Lewandowski will get goals, Xavi believes. Along with that, he thinks that the young Brazilian prospect Rafinha will become a big strength of the team. Xavi comments, ‘Lewandowski will score. You will see that he will score more goals than other times. Rafinha will also contribute a lot to our team. This season and one of the players we bought, important for the future.’

Xavi also talks about his team’s trip to USA. He said, ‘I am happy with the way the tour went. Every match had a new challenge. There are two weeks left until the start of the new season. We have to practice hard. So that I can do well after the start of the season.’
