La Liga authorities have fixed the schedule for the 92nd edition of Spain’s top league. In the first round, Real Madrid and Barcelona will face each other in La Liga. Real’s campaign to retain the title will begin at Almeria. Barcelona will start their journey to regain the title with a match against Rayo Vallecano at home.
In the ninth round, Real Madrid and Barcelona will face in the first Clasico of the season. The match will be played on October 15 or 16 at Real’s Santiago Bernabeu. The two teams will face each other again in the 28th round. The game will be played on March 18 or 19 at Camp Nou.
Xavier Barcelona returned from Real’s 4-0 victory on March 20 in the last match of the two teams. However, Carlo Ancelotti’s team secured the title leaving them far behind.
Barcelona will play Celta Vigo in the final round of next season. Real will play at home against Athletic Bilbao
