Due to the deteriorating flood situation in Sylhet, two matches of Malaysia and Bangladesh national women’s football team will be played at Kamalapur Stadium instead of Sylhet District Stadium. Besides, the matches of Sylhet Venue in BPL football will be held at Munshiganj District Stadium. Apart from changing the venue, the match between Rahmatganj and Bashundhara Kings will be played on June 20 and will be played on June 21.

The two matches were to be held at the Sylhet District Stadium. However, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is removing the venue as the flood situation is deteriorating.
Abu Naim Sohag, General Secretary of BFF, said in this regard on Friday (June 18), ‘It is raining continuously in Sylhet. From the Sylhet DFA, we have been shown the situation on the field with pictures and videos all the time. The BFF women’s committee, considering all aspects, decided to hold the two matches of Sylhet at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka.
Meanwhile, BFF is worried about organizing BPL matches not only for girls but also for international matches. The match between Rahmatganj and Bashundhara Kings was on June 20 in Sylhet. The venue and time of that match have changed. Rahmatganj had its home in Sylhet District Stadium.
but due to the flood, it has become impossible to organize matches there now. So BFF decided to hold the match on June 21 in Munshiganj. Moreover, if the flood situation is prolonged, the remaining matches may be shifted from there to Munshiganj.
In this regard, Sohag said, ‘Sylhet venue is Dhaka Abahani and Rahmatganj. The next home match between the two teams will be decided after a discussion.
