Argentina U-20 beat Panama U-23 1-0 in Group A match of the tournament in France. Alejandro Garnachor scored the only winning goal for the team.

Earlier, Lionel Messi’s successors defeated Saudi Arabia U-20 1-0 in the first match of the tournament. As a result, Argentina’s youth team is at the top of Group A with two wins out of four. France in two, Panama in three and Saudi Arabia in the bottom. Brazil did not take part in the 12-team tournament.

Earlier, Argentina dominated the match against Panama at the Jules Ladomegu Stadium in Stade, France. They held the ball for most of the match. But they had to wait until the 49th minute of the match to see the goal. Garnacho scored after Matias Sul extended.

Argentina was ahead in possession of the ball, but Panama was ahead in the attack. Both of their 9 shots were on goal. In contrast, Messi’s successors took only 4 shots. In which they are successful in a single shot in the goal. In the end, Argentina left the field with a victory in the goalkeeping skill of Francisco Gomez.

Earlier in the tournament, Argentina beat Saudi Arabia 1-0 in their first match of the tournament thanks to Santiago Castro’s goal. Next Saturday (May 4) the team will play against the host France at 9:40 pm Bangladesh time.
